Andy Kerstens is seeking election as the Republican candidate for Galveston County Constable Precinct 7. Precinct 7 serves the Bacliff, San Leon, Bayshore, Kemah, and Clear Lake Shores areas as well as sections of Dickinson, Texas City and League City. If elected as your constable Andy will provide the highest level of service to the citizens of Galveston County.

As your constable I will bring professionalism and strong work ethics to the office. I intend to employ like-minded personnel who will represent and serve the citizens of Galveston County with honor and respect.

My first goal will be to perform all of the duties required of the constable's office.

Due to the geographic area of the precinct and the close working relationship the constable should have with the citizens, I intend to work closely with all emergency management services to provide exceptional service to the citizens during any emergencies, natural or man-made.

Additionally, I will work with the Justice of the Peace and the municipal courts of our communities in implementing programs to help the youth in our communities who need positive leadership role models. My plan is to have these programs give the youth a feeling of accomplishment and pride, while providing a service to assist the elderly citizens of the community. These programs will not be limited to persons who need leadership and guidance, but will be open to all citizens who wish to participate.

I truly believe an elected official should give back to the community and the citizens who elected them. I cannot think of a better way to accomplish this goal than to help the youth, who will be our next leaders and the elderly, who have led us to where we are.
